CleanAim® HEFA
CleanAim® HEFA (Hydro-processed Esters and Fatty Acids) is a sustainable technology designed to produce renewable liquid fuels such as renewable diesel or sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). It is a versatile, scalable, and environmentally friendly technology that uses recycled waste oils and fats of animal or vegetable origin as feedstock.
The SAF produced by CleanAim® HEFA can be blended up to a maximum of 50% with conventional jet fuel and meets the quality parameters in ASTM D1655 as Jet-A or Jet-A1 fuel for use in commercial aircraft.

CleanAim® HEFA has two configurations: In the simplest one, it produces exclusively renewable diesel, while in the complete one, it simultaneously produces SAF, renewable gasoline, and renewable diesel. In the full configuration, SAF is the main product.
The SAF produced by CleanAim® HEFA is a high-quality jet fuel that meets the physicochemical parameters outlined in ASTM D7566 for synthetic jet fuel and can be blended up to a maximum of 50% with conventional jet fuel.
