CleanAim® GTL integrates carbon capture technologies that can use CO2 from other processes as secondary feedstock, such as CO2 recovered from exhausted stack gases or CO2 obtained as a byproduct of a process where it cannot be recycled in any other way.

CleanAim® GTL can operate in synergy with other CO2-producing plants or processes, further reducing CO2 emissions. CleanAim® GTL can operate in synergy with our CleanAim® RNG technology in comprehensive projects involving the production of renewable natural gas and synthetic liquid fuels.

CleanAim® GTL can be fed simultaneously with methane gas and CO2, to transform them into synthesis gas and subsequently into liquid hydrocarbons. The CleanAim® GTL process chain consists of a series of catalytic reactors in which the chemical transformations necessary to obtain the desired products occur.

CleanAim® GTL consists of the following main systems:
